RAJASTHAN, INDIA
This is the famous "Hawa Mahal" or "Palace of Winds" in Jaipur. It was built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh and designed in the form of the crown of Krishna - the Hindu god. The original intent of the lattice was to allow royal ladies to observe activities on the street without being seen.
The Diwan-i-Am (public audience hall) at Amer Fort near Jaipur. This is where the Maharaja listened to petitions from the public.
